Return of the Lotto and the jackpot is €2,800

Absent since the 29th December 2020, Killavullen GAA Lotto will resume on Tuesday, the 18th of May at 9.30 PM.
Killavullen GAA club suspended its club lotto, when Ireland went into level 5 lockdown, due to the second deadly wave of the dreaded Corona Virus, after restrictions had been lifted on the run up to Christmas. . We have been in that lock down mode since, but gradually, with the vaccination roll out, a small bit of normality is starting to return, albeit very slowly.
Since the 29th of December, 19 Tuesday nights have come and gone, with no Killavullen GAA Lotto, but any person, that has paid up to date, rest assured that your contribution is noted, and is carried over to 19 weeks into the future.
Killavullen would ask persons to contact any Lotto Seller, such as John Angland, Michael Linehan, Mary Mellerick, and Redmond Lane among others or any club member and support the lotto – it is the main stay financially of Killavullen GAA Club, and any support is greatly appreciated.
On the 18th May, the jackpot will be €2,800, which would be a nice sum, to prepare for ones holidays, when we will all be able to get out and about again. Additional draws for the lucky dips will also take place on the night.
To catch up on the occasional lotto player, who we miss from the pubs and local outlets, it is now possible to play the lotto on-line, on the Killavullen GAA Website. The conventional methods of buying the lotto, from local representatives, and club members, is always available.
E-Sales to be valid, must be completed before 8.00 PM on the night of the draw. Any ticket purchased after that time goes forward to the draw, of the following week.
We would like to reach out to people far and wide, to support the lotto as best they can going forward, so as to pay for, preparing the teams, trying manfully to adhere to the Covid advice, putting up sanitising stations and yet, carrying on with upgrade works to our pitch area.
A person will also be able to play the Lotto by signing up, and paying for 10 weeks at a time via Revolut. The cost will be €20. The money can be transferred to 086-3934232, and a text message as to what numbers that a person wants to play will be necessary.
The Lotto does pay for everything, and in 2021, it does so, literally. Goal nets, any expenses related to coaching and teams, any necessary upgrades in the pitch area, the Lotto covers all of those.
