3-13 to 3-05 2nd March 2019 Vs. Buttevant

Last Saturday evening in Buttevant, Killavullen made a winning debut in this years Under 16 football league when they defeated our hosts on a final score of 3-13 to 3-05.

The conditions were not conductive to open attacking football, but Killavullen would have reason to be pleased with their overall performances and especially in the 2nd half when they scored 1-09 against a strong wind. A feature of that second period was the ability of the Killavullen backs, in particular to offer themselves up as an attacking option going forward, and that speaks volumes to the training that they have done in advance of this game.

The team was;

  1. James O Keeffe
  2. Conor Breenan
  3. Chris O Callaghan
  4. Sean Bartley (0-01)
  5. Kian Lane

  12. Colm Nagle
  13. Sean Palmer (0-02)
